In 2019, Xfinity launched Watchathon Week with an event that would get fans excited and tuning in.
For Game of Thrones, we premiered the much-anticipated final season in an actual medieval castle straight out of Westeros.
Everything from the transportation and meals to the staff and cinema rooms was crafted to deliver on deep knowledge of each show.
Real props were flown in from Belfast, like the Dragonstone Throne and Khalessi’s giant map table of Westeros. Even the official Game of Thrones prop master, Tommy Dunne, also stopped by to discuss his most famous creations, like the Dothraki Arakh, Arya’s Needle and Jon Snow’s Longclaw.
For Billions we hosted the premiere in an exclusive, luxury-car club in New York City—the same location where the show had previously shot scenes.
From exclusive tastings of food to the actual cars from the show, fans got to relive their favorite scenes.
Much to fans’ delight, stars Toby Leonard Moore and Kelly AuCoin joined, as well as show runners Brian Koppelman and David Levien.
And the fans LOVED it.
